Study shows breast implants don’t affect breast cancer survival

Occasionally a patient will admit to me that she’s a bit afraid to have breast implants in our Florida plastic surgery office because she’s concerned that breast cancer might not be detected on a mammogram due to the implants.  There’s a recent study from Canada that adds further reassurance that this should not be a concern.
