Restylane Products
The family of Restylane products is made of various formulations of a crystal-clear, biocompatible hyaluronic acid gel. All contain soothing lidocaine and are FDA approved for injection into the skin in tiny amounts using a very fine needle. View GalleryRequest a ConsultationRestylane-L can be used for smoothing out folds and wrinkles, enhancing the lips, and shaping facial contours. The most common areas are the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows), and the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of the mouth). Very superficial or very deep wrinkles may be difficult to correct. Restylane Eyelight is designed to rejuvenate the delicate under-eye area, targeting dark circles, hollows, and fine lines for a rested and rejuvenated appearance. Restylane Kysse is intended specifically for the lips. Restylane Lyft is used to add volume to the cheeks and nasolabial folds. Restylane Refyne smooths away lines and folds around the mouth, and is flexible enough to allow the mouth to move naturally. Restylane Defyne, made for deeper folds around the mouth, is also flexible.
Because of her experience with the Restylane family of products, Brandie was selected to be a trainer for Galderma. She uses her expertise to train other injectors on the safe and effective use of these products.
RADIESSE
RADIESSE is made up of calcium hydroxylapitite microspheres contained within a natural, water-based gel. It is FDA-approved for the correction of lines and wrinkles around the mouth, as well as the restoration of signs of fat loss in the face. When this gel is injected into the treatment area, beneath the dermis, it temporarily plumps up the problem areas. And, because it is also known to stimulate the production of new collagen, RADIESSE not only fills in your skin, but also forms the foundation for a more youthful look.

Plan Your TreatmentDermal Filler Treatment
Dr. Hasen or Brandie will begin the procedure by prepping and cleaning the treatment area. Then, using a very small needle, they will inject the filler into the dermal layer of the skin. Because most products contain numbing agents, patients are generally fairly comfortable during treatment. However, any discomfort can be minimized with a topical anesthetic and/or a nerve block similar to what you would receive at the dentist. Treatment with fillers is a very quick and easy process. As no pre-test is needed, the treatment can be carried out immediately. A single session generally takes 30 minutes. The time differs somewhat, depending on the correction you wish to have performed.

Get to know BrandieHow Much Does Restylane Cost in Naples, FL?
The cost of Restylane and other dermal fillers at our practice varies depending on several factors, such as the specific treatment area and the number of syringes necessary to achieve natural-looking results. You can learn more about the specific factors influencing the cost of dermal fillers here.
Dermal Filler Recovery & Results
After the injections, the treated areas will likely remain red and slightly swollen for several hours. Bruising, swelling, and redness can linger for several days, but should resolve within 2 weeks. The treated areas may feel firm to the touch, but lumps and bumps are usually not visible. Most patients return to work and other daily activities immediately after treatment.
With most fillers, during the first 48 hours after your treatment, you should not massage or rub the treated area. However, Sculptra works differently, and it is recommended that you massage the area a few times each day for several days after your treatment. If you have had a lip enhancement, avoid puckering your lips for the first two days after the treatment. Until the initial swelling and redness are gone, do not expose the treated area to intense heat (e.g. in a solarium or by sunbathing) or extreme cold.
Restylane products and RADIESSE produce immediately visible results. Sculptra works differently, and results develop gradually over time as your skin produces more of its own collagen. Restylane product results typically last from 6 to 18 months. RADIESSE results usually last 9 to 15 months.
Most people require a series of Sculptra treatments, and once results develop, they can last many years.
