What Is BBL HEROic?
BBL is an advanced light therapy that emits pulses of light energy. This energy penetrates the skin without harming it to heat up and destroy concentrated pigment in brown spots and redness. The heat also triggers a healing response that boosts collagen production to soften wrinkles and increase firmness.

BBL HEROic is the newest and most advanced BBL technology, improving upon the original BBL HERO. It makes treatments faster, more uniform, and more comfortable by automating with the following technology:

- Skin Positioning System™ (SPS) prevents treating areas more than once (overlap).
Am I a Good Candidate for BBL HEROic?
HEROic treatments are safe for most skin types (I to V on the Fitzpatrick scale) and can treat the face, chest, arms, and most other areas of exposed skin. The lighter your skin, the better for BBL HEROic; treatments are most effective on skin that is not suntanned or darkened from a spray tan.

Does BBL HEROic Tighten Skin?

Your Treatment Experience
These office treatments take only about 10 minutes, depending on the areas you want treated. Numbing medication is not needed because the BBL device has a sapphire crystal that keeps the skin cool. After cleansing the skin, your provider places shields over your eyes and applies a conductive gel. The handpiece releases quick flashes of light energy as it is passed over the skin. HEROic treatments are faster and more comfortable than IPL and other BBL treatments because they require just a single pass over the skin.

Shop NowWhat Is the Downtime for HEROic BBL?
Treated skin will look and feel sunburned for approximately 30 to 60 minutes, but no downtime is needed. It is important to avoid sun exposure and wear sunscreen with at least a 30 SPF broad-spectrum sunscreen as directed.
When Will I See Results?
Full results take about 2 to 3 weeks to achieve, although changes begin right away. Treated vascular concerns will fade, while discoloration may intensify as pigment rises to the skin’s surface before sloughing off. As new collagen and elastin form, the skin will gradually become smoother and firmer for months.
