Having performed more than 1,000 CoolSculpting Elite procedures, I’ve developed an understanding of what most people want to know before the fat freezing begins.

You’ll start your journey by meeting with me, my board-certified physician assistant, Brandie Gostigian, or another qualified member of our medical spa team to go over your treatment plan.
How Should I Prepare for CoolSculpting Elite?
Because CoolSculpting Elite is non-surgical and non-invasive, you don’t need to do any specific prep before your appointment. The most important thing you can do to get ready is research providers near you and select a qualified and highly rated CoolSculpting Elite specialist.
What Happens During a CoolSculpting Elite Consultation?
Before your treatment, you’ll meet with your specialist to talk one-on-one about your treatment goals and the best ways to help you achieve them. After you review treatment options, make sure all your questions are answered, and decide on the right approach for you, you’re ready to start your session.

What Does CoolSculpting Elite Feel Like?
The first sensation you’ll feel is suction as the device pulls your targeted tissue into the applicator. Then, you’ll notice some intense cold as the controlled cooling begins. This cold feeling soon turns to numbness, so you won’t feel anything in the treated area. At the end of your treatment, as the area warms back up, you’ll likely feel some tingling and sensitivity in your skin that typically fades that same day.
How Long Does CoolSculpting Elite Take?
CoolSculpting Elite takes a little under an hour per treatment area. However, the new CoolAdvantage™ applicators at our practice shorten that time to just 35 minutes. We also offer DualSculpting, which uses 2 machines at once to give you double the results without adding more treatment time.

When Can I Exercise After CoolSculpting Elite?
One of the biggest benefits of CoolSculpting Elite is that it allows you to return to your usual routine right away. You can work out or return to work right away—no need to put your daily activities on hold for recovery.
When Will I See My CoolSculpting Elite Results?
You won’t see CoolSculpting Elite results right away because it takes some time for your body to flush out treated fat cells naturally. Expect to see gradual improvements for about 1 to 3 months. You may start to notice a difference even sooner, though. As one of our patients said in a review, “You notice results within a couple of weeks and gradually more thereafter.”
