Educating patients about the cosmetic procedures we offer is part of our mission at our plastic surgery practice in Naples. By explaining the advantages and processes of treatments, we help patients make informed decisions about what paths will best suit them.
This is one of the reasons we host numerous special events and open houses each year. For example, in November we held a special breast enhancement event that included demonstrations using our VECTRA® 3-D imaging system and hands-on stations where guests could feel saline and silicone implants. That same month also included an informative session on cosmetic treatments for the eyes. And earlier this month, we featured injectables at a holiday event to help patients learn about various dermal fillers and the differences between BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport®.
I find that mixing education with a bit of fun at these informal events attracts visitors who appreciate the chance to learn more about cosmetic procedures outside of normal business hours. We usually include refreshments, raffles, or discount specials at each of the events. And it’s not just the patients who learn. We get a chance to talk to patients in a much more relaxed setting and find out what procedures or products that they may be interested in learning more about, as well as what they’d like to see at our practice.
Whether we are meeting someone for the first time or reestablishing connections with longtime, loyal patients, our open houses and informative events are a chance for us to remain connected to the Naples-Fort Meyers community and offer its residents the type of service that isn’t available at other cosmetic practices.
