Our New Safer Appointment Process

Kent V. Hasen, MD – Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of Naples Will Resume Virtual as well as In-Person Consultations & Treatments with a New ‘Safer Appointment’ Process

We are excited to welcome you back to our practice for elective procedures and surgeries beginning Monday, May 4, 2020. We have adapted our scheduling process and extended our hours to minimize patient overlap and maximize convenience and safety. Additionally, we have greatly ramped up our online or virtual consultation and follow up process.  Due to Governor DeSantis gated approach at opening most of the state, we cannot open the Med Spa portion of the office at this time for facials, massages and eyebrow treatments, but hope to very soon.  Please read on for important information about our new process and email or call us at (239) 262-5662 when you are ready to book your appointment.

Extended Hours & Increased Privacy

Consultation and treatment are available for all surgical and nonsurgical services. We are offering fewer appointments each day to minimize patient overlap and allow ample time to sanitize every surface after each patient visit. To accommodate high appointment demand, we will offer appointments from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. We have prioritized rescheduling patients whose appointments were canceled due to Florida’s shelter-at-home order.

Additional Steps to Safeguard Your Health

In addition to our normal, rigorous safety standards, we have expanded our prevention precautions to include:

  • A meticulous surface sanitizing after each patient visit
  • Additional hand sanitizing stations in every room
  • A prohibition on appointments for anyone showing signs of fever or cough, or patients who have traveled by air in the 14 days preceding their appointment
  • Masks for all staff and patients
  • Daily staff briefings to reiterate the importance of handwashing and surface sanitization

We have converted our waiting room into a “no waiting room” and strive to have no one sitting in the area.  All paperwork must be completed online before you come into the office.  Please also understand that we will ask you several screening questions and take your temperature immediately upon your arrival.  You will have to reschedule if you have a fever. We ask that you come alone whenever possible.  If not, please bring only one adult companion under the age of 65.  Please do not bring children with you to the appointment.  We also ask that you wear your own mask to your appointment and put it on as soon as you enter the office.  You should also put your phone away and sanitize your hands upon entering the office.

While our new scheduling process should minimize any wait, if you prefer to remain in your car until your provider and room are ready, please mention this when scheduling your appointment. Our patient concierge will gladly communicate with you through the Klara app on your phone. Simply let us know of your arrival, and we will alert you the moment we are ready for you to walk from your car directly into your appointment!

Making the Best of the New Normal

We’re working hard to ensure that the new precautions don’t detract from your experience and to help you feel secure and confident as you visit our office. Should you have any questions or special requests, please don’t hesitate to share them with our team.
