What Is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is a nonsurgical body contouring procedure that shrinks the size of “pinchable” areas of fat. Unlike other treatments that use heat to “melt” fat cells, CoolSculpting freezes fat using a process known as cryolipolysis. During the procedure, a hand-held applicator suctions fatty tissue into the device and carefully exposes the tissue to controlled cool temperatures. The cold air breaks down fat cells, which are then naturally shed by the body over time, reducing the size of unwanted fat deposits.

- Curve Series: These C-shaped applicators are made to fit curved areas such as under the chin, below the jawline, across the tummy, along your sides, and under the buttocks. The cupped shape better fits the body’s natural curves and uses suction to draw in and hold fat during treatment. This improved design treats a larger surface area in one go, allowing for improved results and reduced treatment times.
- Flat Series: This series has 2 applicators designed to treat pinchable fat on flatter parts of the body. The devices have a longer, rectangular shape and are typically used on the upper arms and inner thighs.
- Surface: This larger applicator is the only one of the entire CoolSculpting Elite lineup that doesn’t use suction. It’s flat design treats areas of fat that are difficult to pinch, such as the outer thighs and upper abdomen.
