Breast Lift Before & After Case 93

37 year old female who had drooping of the breasts after pregnancy and breast feeding (involutional ptosis of the breasts).  This Ft. Myers woman traveled to Naples to have her breast enhancement surgery done by board certified plastic surgeon, Kent V. Hasen, M.D.  Dr. Hasen is a cosmetic fellowship trained plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic surgery of the breast, body and face.  The patient had drooping of the breast, but nipple did not have to raise up too high, so she was able to have a circular breast lift around the areola which is commonly referred to as a donut mastopexy.  The patients slight size discrepancy between the breasts was corrected by using a slightly bigger implant on the right side.  The patient now is a full C cup from a small B cup before her surgery.  Dr. Hasen placed the silicone implants in the plane called subfascial.  This plane allows for better coverage of the top of the implant, but has the advantages of subglandular implant placement and none of the drawbacks of submuscular placement (distortion with contraction of the muscle, increased pain and sometimes unnatural aging in relation to the natural breast).
