As you can see, this patient started out with a right breast slightly larger than the left. It’s quite common for women to have asymmetrical breasts. I was able to correct this patient’s slight breast asymmetry by filling her smooth round breast implants with different volumes of saline. I placed the implants through an inframammary fold incision and in the subpectoral pocket for better coverage of the saline implant in the top and center portion of the breasts. Implants placed under the muscle are not completely covered by the muscle: only existing breast tissue covers the implant at the bottom and outside of the breast.
