Avéli® Cellulite Treatment
Dimples and lumps on the thighs and buttocks can be an unsightly nuisance, especially here in Florida, where shorts and skirts are often the go-to choices for much of the year. Because cellulite is caused by fibrous structures beneath the skin, external treatments like creams and massage seldom have any noticeable effect. Kent V. Hasen, M.D., offers an effective, long-lasting solution called Avéli at his practice serving Naples and Fort Myers, Florida. This minimally invasive treatment disrupts cellulite’s structure, creating smoother, less dimpled skin. With Avéli, you now have a way to directly target areas of stubborn cellulite directly.
For more information about Avéli and to discover whether it’s a good cellulite treatment for you, request a consultation at our Naples-Fort Myers practice or call (239) 262-5662 today.

How Does Avéli Work for Cellulite?
Avéli addresses the cause of cellulite, fibrous bands (septae) that pull the skin down and create a dimpled appearance. The unique Avéli device has a long, flexible probe with a hooked blade and a light at the end. The probe is inserted under the skin through a tiny incision and moved toward a targeted dimple. The light glows through the skin to ensure the targeted dimple is reached. Once the blade is hooked around the associated septae, the provider snips the band, allowing the skin to smooth out.
Who Is a Good Candidate for Avéli?
Because Avéli is a relatively minor procedure and cellulite is such a common concern, many adults are eligible to undergo treatment safely. In general, if you’re frustrated by the appearance of cellulite on your thighs or buttocks, you’re likely a candidate for treatment.
We also offer a number of other minimally invasive options for body contouring, including CoolSculpting® Elite, EMSCULPT NEO®, and Renuvion®. These treatments can complement the results of Avéli, further refining your most bothersome trouble spots for a more complete improvement. During your consultation, you and Dr. Hasen can discuss your eligibility for a combined approach.
How Much Does Avéli Cost in Naples, FL?
Pricing varies based on several factors. During your consultation, you’ll receive a written quote reflecting your procedure’s specifics. For more information on our fees and financing options, visit our financial and cancellation policy page.
Your Treatment Experience
Cellulite treatment with Avéli is minimally invasive and relatively brief, requiring only local anesthesia. Dr. Hasen begins by numbing the area you want treated. He then creates a small incision and inserts the probe just beneath the skin. For each targeted dimple, Dr. Hasen releases the associated septae.
Because the Avéli probe is so small, no sutures are needed. Bleeding is minimal, and thanks to the local anesthetic, the procedure is quite comfortable. You can expect your appointment to last between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
The Recovery
Although minor soreness, swelling, and bruising are common after Avéli, most patients feel well enough to resume their normal activities within a few days. No prescribed pain medication is necessary.
The Result
Although the results of Avéli aren’t instant, they do develop quickly. And once they appear, they’re very long-lasting. Many patients say they notice fewer dimples and an overall improvement in their treated areas after just 3 days. Over the next few weeks, the skin will continue to look smoother.
