This 70 year old man who is a seasonal resident of Naples, Florida was referred to Dr. Kent Hasen for neck lift surgery to address his excess sagging skin of the neck. He had a golfing buddy that had the same outpatient surgery with Dr. Hasen a year before and was very happy with the results. Kent V. Hasen, M.D. is a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body. For many men, the only concern is the excess skin under the chin (the turkey gobbler). In that case, a neck lift that directly cuts out the excess skin can be less involved with less recovery. The scar fades over time and usually is very hard to see from normal conversational distance.
