This 23-year-old woman sought enhancement of her small breasts by board-certified plastic surgeon Kent V. Hasen, M.D., at his cosmetic plastic surgery practice in Southwest Florida. The patient decided to go with silicone breast implants because they felt more natural to her than implants filled with saline. During the breast augmentation procedure at his Naples practice, Dr. Hasen placed the implants in the subfascial plane through an inframammary fold incision.
