This 29 year old Southwest Florida woman was unhappy with the appearance of her breasts. She has the classical appearance of a tuberous breast. This means that the lower portion of the breast did not form correctly and the areolar complex expanded. The patient wanted this appearance to be corrected and to have a more attractive appearance to the shape of the breasts. In this cases of tuberous breast deformity, Kent V. Hasen, MD - Board Certified Plastic Surgeon - uses the 4 10 Natrelle "gummy bear" cohesive gel implants in the subfascial plane of the breast to help expand out the lower pole of the breast through an areolar incision that helps control the size and puffiness of the areolar complex. She is shown 3 months after breast augmentation in Naples, Florida with cohesive gel implants.
