Dr. Hasen personally selected each member of his operating room team based on their expertise in cosmetic surgery. Danielle – Registered Nurse / Certified First Assistant
Danielle was born and raised in Massachusetts. She and her husband relocated to Naples, Florida in 2004. Danielle has vast medical experience. She has been a registered nurse for over 20 years. Danielle has very well trained and educated. In fact, she has earned many advanced certifications including: CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and RNCFA (Registered Nurse Certified First Assistant). Danielle was the clinical team leader and mentor for cardiothoracic surgical unit in Cambridge, MA. In addition, she traveled to Shanghai, China in 2002 with a Harvard University Cardiothoracic Surgery Team to perform open heart surgery for patients in need. Her expertise in the operating room adds to our surgical center's culture of safety and excellence.
Michael – Operating Room Technician
Michael was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. His family moved to Southwest Florida while he was in grade school. He is a graduate of the International Baccalaureate program at Fort Myers High School. Michael earned his degree in Surgical Technology from Southwest Florida College. Michael has also been a member of the Lee Memorial Health Care System as an operating room technician where he specialized in pediatric and neonatal care. Michael has enjoyed teaching many of the surgical technician students from several local programs during their clinical studies. These students have benefited from his vast knowledge of surgery and sterile technique. Not only is Michael a team player, but he also treats all of the patients with kindness and respect.
Troy – Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Troy was born in Ülm, Germany and raised in Louisiana. He relocated to Southwest Florida in 2002 to teach future Nurse Anesthetists. He has 10 years experience consisting of open heart, obstetrics, pediatrics and plastic surgery. He received a Masters Degree in Nurse Anesthesiology from the prestigious Charity Hospital of New Orleans, Louisiana. Troy was instrumental in setting up the operating room at Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of Naples. With his knowledge we were able to create an office operating room suite on par with most hospitals in terms of technology, but far superior in terms of privacy and sterility. Troy's use of deep intravenous sedation and epidurals instead of traditional general anesthesia for most cases greatly speeds up your recovery and lowers the chances of postoperative nausea and vomiting.
