Dr. Hasen understands the financial burden the aesthetic or cosmetic procedure you considering has on you. Additionally, cosmetic surgery is an "elective" type of surgery. You should know that the medical expenses for this procedure may not be covered by your health insurance. While complications are rare, cosmetic surgery is a medical procedure and there are certain events during and after your surgery that could require medical attention.

In the event you should experience a covered complication from your surgery, Dr. Hasen participates in a program which provides coverage for you. Only a surgeon like Dr. Hasen - who is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery - can provide this coverage for their patients.

Because you are a patient of a Dr. Hasen, a Participating Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, you are covered for certain medical expenses that could arise from complications following one or more of the following specified plastic surgery procedures:

• Abdominoplasty
• Breast Augmentation
• Breast Lift
• Breast Reduction
• Browlift
• Buttock Lift
• Cheek Implants
• Chin Augmentation
• Cosmetic Eyelid Surgery
• Facelift
• Liposuction
• Lower Body Lift
• Otoplasty
• Rhinoplasty
• Thigh Lift
• Treatment of Gynecomastia
• Upper Arm Lift

CosmetAssure will pay the usual and customary covered expenses incurred by the patient of Dr. Hasen, a participating Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, up to the applicable maximum benefit amounts, if you develop a covered complication within 30 days of the covered procedure.
